Jane Holgate – is both an experienced Personal Trainer and CrossFit Coach.
As a PT Jane has enjoyed success working with clients whose goals include weight loss, strength and conditioning, specific skills and general health and fitness improvements. My love of fitness started whilst I was in the Army when I trained to be a PTI in the Royal Signals. I have also competed in CrossFit, Weightlifting, Strong Man and Power Lifting over the last 8 years. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share. I’ve held my CrossFit level 1 Trainers Qualification since 2013 and regularly coach CrossFit classes here at RX Box.

Having trained during my own pregnancy and post-partum recovery I have a real passion for helping busy Mums get back into the gym and gain confidence again.

My Training ethos is all about empowerment and fitness for life, if you want to get strong have fun and challenge yourself then my programmes will be for you.

Hello, I’m Neila….

…. And I am excited to share my passion for movement, health and fitness, to help you become fitter, stronger and more flexible. My own personal practice includes dynamic yoga, Pilates, handstands, calisthenics, capoeira, cycling, bouldering and recently CrossFit.
Practicing yoga for 7 years, learning under amazing teachers from around the world, has increased my self-awareness for a more mindful way into moving the body using breath at its core. Having done gymnastics and dance throughout my youth I was inspired by the dynamic styles of yoga that incorporates many acrobatic postures, and it is this that largely influences my style of teaching. I see breath and alignment at the heart of movement to maintain longevity and reduce injury in any given sport or exercise.

If you feel you lack mobility or flexibility or want to improve posture but lack the confidence or perhaps motivation to join a group class, one-to-one sessions are a great way to break the ice and develop the habit to incorporate this type of training into your fitness/exercise regime. At RxGym I will be offering my guidance through one-to-one yoga and Pilates sessions. I can teach how to adjust your alignments to make stretching safer for your body-type and level as well as develop good core strength to help improve balance, co-ordination and a general sense of improved wellbeing.

A big benefit of one-on-one tuition is that it will help develop the precise movement of Pilates which aims to isolate and work individual muscles, as apposed to a group class where there is little or no individual attention to make corrections. I can tailor sessions to your wants and needs and most importantly with a bit of creativity we will have some fun!

I am a trainer at RxGym and a CrossFit coach at RxBox and I am passionate about helping clients and members achieve their goals. My mission as a trainer and coach is to enable people to create and reinforce positive habits allowing them to achieve their goals. My ethos is centered around changing my client’s mindset; feeling uncomfortable will become your new normal and you might even start to enjoy it.

When it comes to my own fitness experience it’s been one extreme to another. I swam competitively, up to national level. Then became overweight and unfit for the best part of a decade. 3 years ago, I rediscovered my competitive nature after trialing a CrossFit class at RxGym, following that class I became motivated to better myself. 3 years on I have ingrained positive new habits into my daily routine that has resulted in PB’s I never thought possible and a level of functional fitness that has totally changed my life both personally and professionally.

Whether your goal is to improve a compound lift, functional fitness, learn a new skill, change body composition or have a want to simply better yourself. I aim to pass on skills and ignite a drive within that will help you not only achieve your goals but exceed them, ultimately finding the key to making your short-term fitness progress permanent.

I am a Personal trainer and Crossfit coach here at RxGym. I’m here to help you with any goals you may have, whether you are brand new to the gym or an experienced gym-goer. My aim is for you to build a healthy lifestyle which includes going to the gym and enjoying it! From my experience, I can help you achieve any of your goals. This could include losing some weight, putting on muscle mass, or even perfecting a movement that you’ve always wanted to do. I want to make you confident in the gym and to do that we will do every exercise with correct form, safely.

Growing up I have never played a sport or been into fitness, because of that I have been overweight most of my life and that needed to change. The gym is now my passion, I have learned how to get fitter and stronger by doing conditioning, weightlifting, and Olympic weightlifting. I want to pass on my experience and knowledge, so you can reap the benefits also.

“Hi, my name is Ben and I’m a personal trainer and CrossFit coach here at RxGym. I’m a strong believer that the key to achieving your health and fitness goals is by making small, incremental, and most importantly sustainable changes to your training and overall lifestyle. There is no one size fits all method to fitness as everybody is different and as a result, I aim to provide a personalized service for everyone I work with in order to help you not only achieve your goals but maintain them going forward.
My passion for health and fitness has stemmed from a very young age, as I have always had a keen interest in sport. I’ve played competitive rugby for most of my life, have been an avid rock-climber and outdoorsman for the past several years, and more recently have immersed myself into the world of CrossFit. I have trained in gyms for as long as I can remember and have several years’ experience in coaching and teaching in a variety of different sports and activities, such as rugby, scuba diving and freediving.
Whether it’s your first time stepping into a gym, are an experienced gym goer or are looking to compete in a specific sport or event, as a coach and trainer here at Rx Gym, I aim to bring all of my knowledge and experience together in order to help you hit your goals. Hello, I’m Tom, one of the coaches here at RX Gym and CrossFit Didsbury. I specialise in all things CrossFit and functional training. I’ve coached CrossFit for over 2 years at CrossFit Urban Outlaws and trained in CrossFit for years. My aim is to compete at a national level and this year I progressed to the quarterfinals. My love for training shines through in my coaching and is something I look to continuously improve on. I’m a qualified level 2 gym instructor and I am currently completing my CrossFit level one.
