Jane Holgate – is both an experienced Personal Trainer and CrossFit Coach.
As a PT Jane has enjoyed success working with clients whose goals include weight loss, strength and conditioning, specific skills and general health and fitness improvements. Jane has also developed successful training programmes for adults aged 40 plus. Jane has a list of success stories from client’s.
Jane also runs the CrossFit Kids and CrossFit Teens classes at RX Box.
Jane has been an active CrossFitter since 2007 and has competed at Masters Level at Olympic Weightlifting, Indoor Rowing as well as many CrossFit competitions, and is also one of the organisers of Raising the Bar, the top masters competition in the UK, and runs the RTB Masters Fitness League.

My love of fitness started whilst I was in the Army when I trained to be a PTI in the Royal Signals. I have also competed in CrossFit, Weightlifting, Strong Man and Power Lifting over the last 8 years. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share. I’ve held my CrossFit level 1 Trainers Qualification since 2013 and regularly coach CrossFit classes here at RX Box.

Having trained during my own pregnancy and post-partum recovery I have a real passion for helping busy Mums get back into the gym and gain confidence again.

My Training ethos is all about empowerment and fitness for life, if you want to get strong have fun and challenge yourself then my programmes will be for you.

Hello, I’m Lucy!

As a qualified Physiotherapist with 6 years experience, I have a passion for health and fitness and helping people to become the very best version of themselves. I aim to combine my knowledge and skills as a physio, personal trainer and coach at Rx Gym to help you achieve your own personal goals, however big or small.

Fitness has always been a big part of my life. Having swam competitively growing up, I went on to participate in triathlons and long distance running and have completed several half and full marathons. Whilst at University, I was part of the rowing team and in the past couple of years I have enjoyed taking part in CrossFit at Rx Box, which has developed my strength and fitness in many ways.

Whether you are new to exercise, recovering from an injury, or working towards a sporting goal I can help you on your fitness endeavor. I aim to impart my knowledge and experience and instill positive, long-term lifestyle habits to enable you to reach your full potential.

I am a trainer at RxGym and a CrossFit coach at RxBox and I am passionate about helping clients and members achieve their goals. My mission as a trainer and coach is to enable people to create and reinforce positive habits allowing them to achieve their goals. My ethos is centered around changing my client’s mindset; feeling uncomfortable will become your new normal and you might even start to enjoy it.

When it comes to my own fitness experience it’s been one extreme to another. I swam competitively, up to national level. Then became overweight and unfit for the best part of a decade. 3 years ago, I rediscovered my competitive nature after trialing a CrossFit class at RxGym, following that class I became motivated to better myself. 3 years on I have ingrained positive new habits into my daily routine that has resulted in PB’s I never thought possible and a level of functional fitness that has totally changed my life both personally and professionally.

Whether your goal is to improve a compound lift, functional fitness, learn a new skill, change body composition or have a want to simply better yourself. I aim to pass on skills and ignite a drive within that will help you not only achieve your goals but exceed them, ultimately finding the key to making your short-term fitness progress permanent.

As a personal trainer and CrossFit coach at Rx Gym, I want to guide you in your fitness journey to achieve any goals you may have in terms of fitness, strength and general wellbeing. I want to you to be able to enhance your performance and physique in ways you never thought you could. Whether you are new to the gym or an experienced gym goer, I can take you to the next level of your journey.

For most of my life I have been overweight, unfit, lazy and lacked motivation to do anything about it. My habits and lifestyle needed to change. The gym is now a big part of my life and routine, in doing so I am less stressed, have more energy and have the functional fitness and strength to help me through day to day life. All of this seemed impossible to me a few years ago and want to show you that anything is possible when you change your mindset.

Being a part of the CrossFit community and having a specialisation in performance enhancement have given me a keen interest in compound and Olympic lifting. There are always ways to improve your technique in these areas, combining that with progression makes it very rewarding.

Hello! My name is Cora.
My goal as your Personal Trainer, CrossFit, and Nutrition Coach is to inspire you to be the BEST version of yourself. I use a client-centred based approach, meaning there is no one specific training or nutrition programme that is designed for all. We as individuals require different coaching methods, have different goals and ambitions, different ways of learning and have different priorities. Which is why I focus on each individual client, rather than use the same approach for all. We are unique in our own ways, and that is such a beautiful and important thing to remember. How we feel about ourselves, our mindset, how we sleep, and our relationships with others are just as important, if not more than the effort and time we put into the gym, and the food we have on our plate. My goal is to support and navigate you through this wonderful journey you choose, to help you reach your desired targets in and outside of the gym or box. I want to ensure that you are building habits and practices that will last you a lifetime, not something that will be just temporary.
My love and passion for health and fitness began for me at a very young age. Lacrosse has been a huge part of my life: I played both hockey and lacrosse at the NCAA Division 3 Level in America. I was named team captain for two years, 1st Team All-Region, Player of the year and Tournament MVP in 2010. I was also named The Outstanding Female Athlete of the year by my University in 2011. In 2010, I was invited to trial for the USA Women’s National Lacrosse Team, being 1 of 100 players selected in the country, this was a huge accomplishment in my athletic career. I have had the opportunity to coach Lacrosse teams all over the world, including the Italian National Lacrosse team, and many top clubs in the United States. I have just finished at the University of Nottingham, coaching top National level athletes, leading my team to the BUCS semi-finals for the second time in school history. Whilst coaching lacrosse, I discovered CrossFit which has been such an important part to my life. I enjoy competing around the UK, but my ultimate goal is to qualify for a sanctional CrossFit event. I currently hold a CF-L1 Qualification and coach classes here at RxBox and RxGym!

“Hi, my name is Ben and I’m a personal trainer and CrossFit coach here at RxGym. I’m a strong believer that the key to achieving your health and fitness goals is by making small, incremental, and most importantly sustainable changes to your training and overall lifestyle. There is no one size fits all method to fitness as everybody is different and as a result, I aim to provide a personalized service for everyone I work with in order to help you not only achieve your goals but maintain them going forward.
My passion for health and fitness has stemmed from a very young age, as I have always had a keen interest in sport. I’ve played competitive rugby for most of my life, have been an avid rock-climber and outdoorsman for the past several years, and more recently have immersed myself into the world of CrossFit. I have trained in gyms for as long as I can remember and have several years’ experience in coaching and teaching in a variety of different sports and activities, such as rugby, scuba diving and freediving.
Whether it’s your first time stepping into a gym, are an experienced gym goer or are looking to compete in a specific sport or event, as a coach and trainer here at Rx Gym, I aim to bring all of my knowledge and experience together in order to help you hit your goals.
