My love of fitness started whilst I was in the Army when I trained to be a PTI in the Royal Signals. I have also competed in CrossFit, Weightlifting, Strong Man and Power Lifting over the last 8 years. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share. I’ve held my CrossFit level 1 Trainers Qualification since 2013 and regularly coach CrossFit classes here at RX Box.

Having trained during my own pregnancy and post-partum recovery I have a real passion for helping busy Mums get back into the gym and gain confidence again.

Jane Holgate – is both an experienced Personal Trainer and CrossFit Coach.
As a PT Jane has enjoyed success working with clients whose goals include weight loss, strength and conditioning, specific skills and general health and fitness improvements. Jane has also developed successful training programmes for adults aged 40 plus. Jane has a list of success stories from client’s.
Jane also runs the CrossFit Kids and CrossFit Teens classes at RX Box.
Jane has been an active CrossFitter since 2007 and has competed at Masters Level at Olympic Weightlifting, Indoor Rowing as well as many CrossFit competitions, and is also one of the organisers of Raising the Bar, the top masters competition in the UK, and runs the RTB Masters Fitness League.

My passion and interest in the fitness industry began by playing various sports to a high level and always being curious about the “performance” side of sport, was emphasised further when I suffered a serious injury in 2017 which left myself out of sport for 15 months and it clarified my interest to want to work in the industry,

Throughout my 4 year degree in Ireland I worked with various populations through personal training and also an elite football team which included periodisation of programming and carrying out performance testing as well over seeing the use of GPS technology, have experience of working with people of all age groups and love being able to impact peoples lives in a positive way!

From a young age I always had a passion for sports. I’d give anything a go but grew up playing rugby and football alongside mountain biking in the hills of Rossendale. I still play touch rugby with Manchester Foxes and have represented the North West for the mixed open team at touch rugby nationals. I train 4-5 times a week, with my training focus being getting stronger and ‘bulletproofing’ my body to improve sports performance.

I have over 5 years’ experience as a coach/personal trainer and have worked with a wide range of people of different ages and training experience. From helping gym members get stronger and achieve their fitness goals to improving sports performance of youth and senior athletes (Sale Sharks, Burnley FC, Manchester City Academy).

Through a BSc in sport and exercise science and an MSc in Strength & Conditioning, I have gained a detailed understanding of the human body and the way it reacts to different modes of training. My coaching philosophy is to educate my clients and improve their understanding of their body while having fun. The best form of training is the one you enjoy and will stick to!

Hi my name is Ash, I am a CrossFit coach at CrossFit Didsbury and I have over 6 years of CrossFit experience from a variety of different gyms. I have a real passion for CrossFit as it gives people an escape from everyday life, to have fun and to learn new things whilst improving their overall health & fitness. As a coach I love to motivate and give people the confidence to push themselves to achieve things that they never thought they could do.

I think it is important for my clients to have fun and enjoy the process and I tailor my programming to the individual’s needs. I have experience of working with clients who require adaptations to training due to prior injuries/disabilities.

My coaching style is to keep things simple and effective and most importantly keep people motivated.

I have competed in both individual and team CrossFit competitions and have won a few along the way but recently shifted my focus towards coaching others.
